The Start of a New Chapter

Hola! I know it's been a while since I've been here. Life really kinda did its thing the last few months. Since I was last here, I've traveled to California, North Carolina and New York City. My role at my last company was also eliminated and that kinda left me in an existential crisis.

This is the third time I've been laid off and I am kinda over it. So I told myself this go around, "let's be open to all of the things and see what happens". It took a lot of weeks of disassociating, rewatching Suits, and thinking about what I really want out of life to come to some sort of answer.

As a 42 year old, I'm still looking for who I am. I am still trying to live my dreams. I've always wanted create things. This newsletter was a start, but I always felt a little constrained by it and didn't have the time to dedicate to making it into something.

So after a few weeks of thinking and landed on creating something new. In a few weeks I'm going to be launching a podcast and newsletter titled "Remember . . . That One Time". It will be my living memoir of sorts. I'll be sharing personal stories, my take about pop culture and review some current events. My goal is to create a community around what we can learn from our collective past.
